When a regional hospital needed 200 additional beds without disrupting active clinical operations, the site team turned to volumetric modular construction — building on a disused car park adjacent to the existing facility.

Building Beside a Live Hospital

Minimizing noise, vibration, and disruption to patients was a defining constraint of the project, and modular assembly dramatically reduced on-site construction time compared to a conventional build.

From Groundbreaking to Handover

The facility was fully operational in under a year — a timeline that would have been difficult to achieve with traditional construction methods on a site this constrained.
